Port O Call Hotel

Port O Call Hotel

Project History

Ocean City, New Jersey is a popular summer destination known for its beaches and many attractions.
One of the city’s notable landmarks is The Port-O-Call Hotel, famous for its signature pink color as
well as being known as the summer destination’s number one resort. Standing confidently just steps
away from the famous two and a half-mile boardwalk and Wonderland Pier, this unique pink colored hotel can be seen from both bridges that lead to the island. Over time the hotel’s trademark color had faded, resulting in a “tired” appearance to the once proud landmark. After detailed conversations with the hotel’s owners and imagining what the original color must have been like, contractor Commercial Waterproofing, Inc. and Conproco were able to produce a color match that was deemed “perfect” by the hotel’s owners.
Commercial Waterproofing, Inc. sent Conproco two shades of pink and were able to work together to produce that perfect pink. Two coats of Conpro Lastic were applied on the building, providing a waterproof membrane. Conpro Lastic is mildew resistant and water vapor permeable, and provides long-lasting protection, even in seacoast areas.
