For Cement Based Materials
The gallons per minute volume of a rotor/stator pump is determined by the pump size (i.e. size 6 has a larger capacity than size 3). The pressure capacity of a pump is determined by the number of stages. Thicker materials and longer distances require higher pressure.

Plaza decks, balconies, walkways, driveways and other horizontal concrete surfaces are subject to wear, physical damage, staining and discoloration. These concrete surfaces need protection from water entry and environmental contaminants to prevent spalling, cracking and ultimately, failure. Elastideck bridges minor cracks, prevents water entry, protects against environmental contaminants, and provides a stain resistant textured decorative surface.
Elastideck is an acrylic based product and can be cleaned with warmer water and soap. If that is not adequate, apply Super Color Stain in the same color as the Elastideck. Other than ensuring that the surface is clean of contamination, there is no surface preparation necessary.
Remove the damaged Elastideck. The repair area should be a geometric shape for aesthetic purposes. Ensure the substrate is clean of contaminants. Mix and apply Elastideck. If the color of the new material is different from the existing surface apply Super Color Stain to make uniform.

M3P: An inorganic mineral silicate based paint that provides long-term protection and water repellency without changing the natural appearance of the substrate.
Best Suited: Protection from water and carbonation for structures that are difficult to maintain or impractical to recoat in the future. Provides a natural “not painted” appearance. Use when the object is to blend the color of the substrate to be more uniform
M3P Overcoat: Highly breathable hybrid mineral silicate/acrylic coating for application over painted or unpainted surfaces providing a natural non-gloss finish.
Best Suited: Previously painted substrates, particularly silicone and elastomeric coatings which after multiple application reduce vapor transmission to low levels. On unpainted surfaces to preserve natural appearance while hiding significant color variations in the substrate.
Conpro Lastic: An elastomeric waterproof breathable membrane for vertical exterior surfaces.
Best Suited: Structures that require a membrane waterproofing treatment because of cracks, mortar joints, porosity and other physical characteristics that allow water, carbonation and other contaminants into the substrate.
Color Coat: A water-based acrylic coating for concrete and masonry substrates.
Best Suited: Ideal for weather protection of concrete and stucco. High vapor transmission makes this coating well suited for nosing and underside of balconies. Good performance to cost ratio.
Super Color Stain: A penetrating opaque water-based stain that provides uniform color to concrete and masonry.
Best Suited: Horizontal and vertical surfaces that require water repellency as well as uniform color.
TerraColor: Formulated to match colored glaze finishes.
Best Suited: Repairing and restoring terracotta and brick.

Best Suited: Apply to Elastideck in the same color to provide resistance to dirt pick up and staining.
THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN CHOOSING A COLOR AND COATING
The actual color of the coating and stain may vary from the color samples in this card.
Always order a wet sample to be applied to the intended substrate. Allow to cure for a minimum of 24 hours before evaluating.
Stains are generally used in a color similar to the substrate and tend to be more natural looking compared to paints.
Paints are generally used to change the color of the substrate.
Elastomeric coatings are used to waterproof substrates that have movement (cracking or when carbonation is a concern).
The curing rate will affect the final color of Conpro Stucco. Substrate absorption, temperature, wind, moisture and the changing angle of the sun or obstructions that block the sun while curing will contribute to color variation of cementitious coating.
Always apply a sample of the material to the structure to determine actual coverage and the degree of adhesion (ASTM D3359). Allow one week curing before conducting adhesion test.
Plastermix applied to concrete prior to a coating will dramatically improve the overall appearance by creating a uniform, bug-hole free surface.
Projects Showcase
Walt Snyder Stadium

Project History
The entire Walt Snyder Stadium grandstand structure is composed of precast concrete. The project’s budget focused on filling bugholes for a specific square footage and taking proactive measures to extend the life of the structure. Plastermix was used on the stair risers at eye level to provide a very uniform texture for the most visible areas. D & A Masonry addressed bugholes on the higher level risers by using a hopper sprayer to apply Elastideck, a cementitious membrane, and then driving the Elastideck into the bugholes with drywall knives. This technique provided a very smooth surface. Elastideck was also used on the stair treads, and to mask the cold joints which were left visible after a previous phase. Super Color Stain, a water based acrylic coating, was used over the Elastideck to provide dirt and stain resistance. Both products are breathable and provide waterproofing to protect the underlying concrete. Color Coat acrylic coating was used on the undersides of the bleachers, the press box and utility shed to provide preventative waterproofing.

BASD Stadium

Project History
The Bethlehem Area School District Stadium Grandstands were built in 1939. Seating over 13,000 fans, and serving 3 high schools, the grandstands sustain heavy pedestrian traffic. Each steel grandstand is anchored in place by 2 long concrete structures which include the steps and lowermost walkways. The steel grandstands expand and contract a great deal, even in the course of a single day. Years of freeze/thaw cycling had taken a toll on the concrete elements, which serve as concrete “curbs” and keep the structures from moving forward. Concrete repairs were completed using Conpro Primer as a bonding primer for repair materials to hardened concrete, Conpro One Shot 2C, a resurfacing material, and Conpro Set repair mortar. A breathable waterproof pedestrian deck coating system, consisting of Elastideck and Super Color Stain, was then applied. Conpro Lastic elastomeric paint was applied as a protective waterproof coating to the vertical surfaces. A concrete retaining wall was also repaired and recoated.
